Compare the pair of very similar jade jue excavated from the 7th century Huang State tombs at Baoxiangsi, Guangshan county, Henan province, illustrated in Kaogu, 1984, No. 4, pl. 6, no. 2, with a line drawing in pl. 26, no. 5 and description on p. 323.

Another similar pair of jade jue in the British Museum is illustrated by Rawson, Chinese Jade from the Neolithic to the Qing, London, 1995, p. 243, no. 14:9, where the author mentions that the Eastern Zhou jue show the influence of Western Zhou prototypes.
